About Sea Forever
A house designed for good times.
A relaxed coastal home created for families and friends to come together, spread out and enjoy themselves.
The story
Designed to be a holiday house.
Sea Forever isn’t a holiday house that happened to end up in Bicheno. It was designed specifically to be one.
In 2015, we designed and built Sea Forever with the help of a local Launceston builder, with the idea of creating a home that could comfortably bring families and friends together without ever feeling crowded.
The result is a simple, open-plan house that makes the most of its extraordinary position on the hillside above Bicheno.

A view that goes on forever
Ocean, bushland and Bicheno below.
From Sea Forever, you have an uninterrupted 180° outlook across Bicheno and the East Coast.
Look east and the ocean stretches all the way to the horizon. Diamond Island sits to the north, Lookout Rock to the south, with beaches, bushland, mountains, trees and the township all forming part of the view.
The house is surprisingly sheltered, creating a feeling of being tucked away while still completely connected to the coast.
Space to spread out
Somewhere for everyone.
There are no complicated little rooms or spaces that make a large group feel like they’re constantly bumping into each other.
The open-plan living area creates a natural centre for the house, with enormous bi-fold doors opening onto the eastern deck. There is enough room for everyone to sit together, eat together and enjoy the view — but also enough space to find a quiet corner.
Twelve people can stay together without feeling like twelve people are staying in the same room.
Made for togetherness
Spacious without being formal. Comfortable without being fussy.
A home for extended families, groups of friends, two families travelling together, or anyone wanting a comfortable East Coast base.
